Phang Nga United FC is the newest professional football club in Thailand. Based in Phang Nga Province, the club boasts a local academy for players aged up to 18 years and an international academy for players aged 16-23 who are looking to take the next step into professional football, with the U23 team playing against senior professional first teams each week.
Importantly, Phang Nga United FC are proud to be working with iSportScouting in offering their Skills Challenge which is being taken by players aged 7 and above around the world. Over 30 players taking the Skills Challenge have been invited by professional clubs around the world for trials and signing academy contracts. Examples include clubs from England such as Arsenal, West Ham United, Bournemouth, Ipswich Town, as well as clubs from Thailand and USA.

Russ Horsley

Russ is a UEFA qualified Coach & Coach Educator, he is the founder of the club and will take on the role of club President.
Russ is passionate about youth development and providing pathways and opportunities for young players. He sees Phang Nga United FC as a vehicle to develop young players, which will help the club achieve sustainable success.
He has worked for clubs around the world in a range of different roles, ranging from CEO to Academy Coach
He previously worked for the FA in England as a Football Development Officer and Coach Educator, he was one of the founders and executive managers of The English Colleges FA and also managed the Nike International Football Academy
Russ has also held management positions in three colleges of further education and one university centre.
His most recent experience was as President of Phuket Andaman FC.
Amornrat Khuephat

Amornrat is a successful Thai Business woman who has lived in southern Thailand for over 40 years.
She currently owns a successful leisure complex and restaurant in Phuket which includes, sports hall, yoga studio, Zumba room, swimming pool, gymnasium, restaurant and bar.
Amornrat also owns Bulan a small fashion brand with its own shop in Phuket.
Amornrat has great experience in Thai football, having previously been an owner of Phuket Andaman FC .
Phang Nga Provincial Stadium

The Phang Nga Provincial Stadium, has a seated capacity of 4,500 spectators and sits within the Phang Nga Provincial Sports Complex.
Set in the valley of the stunning Phang Nga mountains, the stadium is certainly one of the most striking venues to experience professional football.

Phang Nga Provincial Sports Complex provides all the facilities needed by a professional football club and academy.
In addition to the main stadium the complex boast:
- Grass training pitches
- 3G 9 v 9 pitch
- Covered Futsal courts
- Indoor sports hall
- Fully equipped fitness centre
The complex is also the home of the Phang Nga Sports School a key partner of the club.

Phang Nga United FC, The Pride Of Phang Nga, launched on the 4th of September 2025 and are the newest professional football club in the Thailand.
The club will spend the remainder of 2025 building the club and squad, before competing in T4 in early 2026, from which the club hopes to be promoted to T3 in time for the 2026 / 27 season.
The club is fully focused on bringing success on the pitch whilst giving a platform for young players to develop into professional players.
At the same time as launching the club, news was shared of the clubs domestic academy with the club currently having U18, U16 and U14 squads, it is planned that younger age groups will be added soon along with satellite centres across the Phang Nga Province.
The club also launched its international U23 programme aimed at players aged 16-23. The programme provides daily training, opportunities to train with the first team, a weekly schedule of games against professional clubs and player education packages.

Pittaya Nuchkrasrae

Pittaya Nuchkrasrae – Club Captain, is a very experienced left sided defender.
Boasting an affable personality, he has played in T2 and T3 and has a fantastic attitude towards life as a professional footballer providing an excellent example to younger players.
He has great ambition and shares with the owners a desire to make Phang Nga United FC one of the most successful clubs in Southern Thailand.
Siriwut Sirirat

Siriwut Sirirat – known as Jones can play as a defender or midfielder.
He has experience of playing in T3 and played last season for Ranong FC.
Jones has also played in England, possessing both English and Thai citizenship.
He is very popular in the dressing room and has a fantastic attitude towards games and training.
He is one of the fittest players in the squad, which is a huge asset in the heat of Thailand.
Kitipat Jakthong

Kitipat Jakthong – known as Preauk is a left sided player with great technical ability.
Although very young he already has experience of playing in T3 having represented Phuket Andaman FC last season.
He is very versatile and can play in a number of positions down the left side and in central areas.
Again following the theme of all players at the club, he has the correct attitude and exceptional discipline on the field in matches and training.

Key partnership agreed

The club is delighted to announce a partnership with iSportScouting a platform that allows young players to take the Skills Challenge and be scouted by leading professional clubs.
the platform is a player development, assessment and scouting platform. During pilot tests over 30 players have been selected by professional clubs to attend trials and sign academy contracts.
Phang Nga United FC see the Skills Challenge as a key part of its international recruitment and its academy player development.
We are looking for international partners to help promote the Skills Challenge in their country, which could lead to partners creating full time jobs for themselves

First International Partnership

The club is delighted to announce our first international partnership with Go What It Takes FA Gambia.
This is one of the best academies in Gambia and works with over 240 talented young players.
Phang Nga United FC will be assisting the academy with:
- Coach education / development
- Coaching curriculum and planning
- Assessing young players and providing them with pathways into our club and our global network of professional clubs
- Providing the players with access to the Skills Challenge
- Help in raising funds to further develop the academy
