My name is Mark Gray. I’m vice captain for Greystones united first team in the Leinster senior league
I am 20 years of age and I play right back/right wing/ left wing/ striker/ or attacking midfield. I’m 5 foot 7. And my goal is to get to semi pro level

Education & Rankings
I did a full time football course in Ringsend which finished up recently in September 2025. It’s called FAI player development course. It’s full time football.
In there I completed my gym instruction qualification (itec) and life gaurd qualification. It also allowed me to complete a coaching course too.
Playing experience
So when I was young I was on the emergent talent programme when I was at greystones united a team under 13s. I then fell out of love with football for 2 years which is why I never made it to an academy.
I came back from this at 17 years of age to play for Greystones united in the first team set up and have smashed it ever since. I fell back in love with the game and got player of the year at 18.
I then decided to do a full time football course in which I was coming up agaisnt league of Ireland underage players and some first team players. In that course we played Derry city. In January of 2025 I marked Michael Duffy and done a really good job. I’m now vice captain for Leinster senior league team Greystones united.

Testimonial
Reference for Mark Gray T o whom it may concern, Mark has been with our Men's Senior, Leinster Senior League side for 2 seasons. In that time he has improved greatly in his knowledge of the game as well as his performances. This season he has cemented his place in our first team while also being our top goalscorer. He is always willing to learn and his infectious enthusiasm can be seen by everyone. He is a much loved figure in our senior team on and off the pitch. Mark can play in a number of positions across midfield and upfront and has done so for our senior team when called upon. He is an excellent footballer with great pace and an eye for goal, he is also willing to learn and will only improve. He loves the game and everything about it. Despite his young age he is a leader in our dressing room and really helps lads his age and younger which is brilliant to see. On a personal level I could not speak higher of Mark. He has a great attitude and off the pitch. His application to training is second to none. He is the fittest member of our team and sets standards in this regard. His attendance and timekeeping are never in doubt and I feel he will strive to work in a college environment learning more about the game and getting to do what he loves. Mark is a credit to our Senior T eam and also to our football club. Having worked with Paul O’Reilly previously I know he will love working and getting to know Mark and I feel Mark will be well suited to the excellent facilities and coaching/learning that will be provided on the brilliant programme provided by SETU Carlow. Please feel free to reach out to me on my contact details below as i would be happy to discuss anything in relation to Mark and any assistance i can provide i am happy to do that Thanks Darren Forsyth 0879835535 darrenforsyth9@hotmail.com
