Rami Gharib - Striker, Left Wing, Central Attacking Midfielder

Co. Cork
Ireland

I am a 19 year old Irish Footballer currently playing for LOI club Cobh Ramblers FC U20. I have Senior Football experience. Im known for my quick feet and my ability to take defenders on, but most importantly I’m a goal scorer, I pride myself on being a clinical finisher who thrives under pressure.

I’m fully committed to growing every day as a player, both on and off the pitch. I stay disciplined with my fitness and nutrition. For me, development is a continuous process and I’m driven by the desire to reach my full potential and help my team succeed.

Education & Rankings

I have just completed my first year of studying Biological Sciences in Munster Technological University by balancing my studies and my very demanding Football schedule.. I completed the Leaving Certificate in 2024 after graduating from St Colmans Secondary School based in Cork, Fermoy.

Playing experience

I began my football journey at 9 years old with Watergrasshill United in Cork, where I consistently played a year above my age group. From an early stage, I developed a strong technical foundation and a competitive edge by challenging myself against older players. At 16, I made my Junior Premier Division debut with the club, which was a huge step in my development. That experience taught me how to handle physicality, pressure, and the pace of the game at a higher level.

In 2022, I moved to Fermoy FC to further my career by playing for the U18 Premier side. After performing well and consistently, I was proud to be selected for the Cork Youth League team, where I made a strong impact by scoring and assisting to help the team reach the Munster Final.

Since then, I’ve gone on to represent Fermoy FC at senior level, where I continued to grow as a player, and I also progressed to League of Ireland level with Cobh Ramblers FC. Playing at that standard demanded discipline, consistency, and constant improvement, and it gave me the opportunity to train and compete in a professional environment.

My performances helped me earn a college football scholarship, which has been another important step in combining my education with elite level football. At 19, I’ve already gained valuable experience across youth, senior, and League of Ireland levels, and I’m fully committed to continuing my development and pushing for the highest level possible.

About you

My main goal is to continue developing every aspect of my game and establish myself at the highest level possible. I want to earn consistent minutes in a competitive senior environment, where I can challenge myself against top players and grow through experience. I’m fully committed to putting in the work on and off the pitch to become a more complete player.

Long term, I aim to play professionally and make a lasting impact at club and, eventually, international level. I’m focused on building a career based on consistency, hard work, and strong performances. I also want to be a player that teammates can rely on, a leader through both attitude and actions. Every training session and match is a chance to take a step closer to those goals, and I’m determined to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way.
